Event Information Form

To have your event included in our official schedule, please follow the instructions below. Your event name MUST be short and simple and should NOT include the word “Festival” in the title. (Events lasting more than four hours may require more than one form.)


    (Important notice: To be listed in the official Handy Festival brochure and on the official Handy Festival website, sponsor amounts must be made payable to Music Preservation Society Inc. or WC Handy Music Festival. Ten percent (10%) will be retained by the Music Preservation Society, Inc. to help underwrite Festival operating costs. Use the Handy Festival sponsor form if an invoice is required.)

    Services Needed

    The Handy Festival Steering Committee may be able to negotiate lower pricing on some
    services. Check the services below that you would like the Festival to arrange for your event. (A checklist is
    available upon request.)

    INVOICING

    List of all expenses to be paid through the Handy Festival including payee and amount. Unpaid expenses billed to Handy Festival will be invoiced to the event coordinator in addition to listing and performer fees unless otherwise agreed to in advance by the Music Preservation Society, Inc. Event Coordinators are responsible for ensuring payment for the entire cost of the event, and that payments are received by Music Preservation Society, Inc. no later than June 10, 2024. Unless an invoice is required prior to payment, please enclose the 2024 fee of $300.00 per listing with this event form. Statements will be sent to confirm receipt of event costs and sponsor payments.
